For over a year this book as been a work in progress and I am so excited to share it with you when the book releases on October 9th! The Visual Gospel started with an idea to teach through the different terms in Scripture related to the gospel. Words like justification, propitiation, atonement, condemnation, and even salvation are familiar but sometimes our clarity around these is foggy. Or worse, many Christians have no idea what they mean! But God gave us these words.
Sadly, too many people don’t appreciate the gospel as they should and it can…
“keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God….For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:4-6
These words help us see and savor the gospel.
The Visual Gospel looks at thirty of these Biblical words that relate to the gospel and illustrates each one with a picture to help make the abstract more concrete. The hope is that as you take this thirty day journey that you grow in your love and devotion to God and have a heightened appreciation for the good news of Jesus Christ.
